Here are some letters Dubin Chiropractic has received:

I was training for the Boston Marathon when I started having fairly significant IT Band pain. It culminated during a 16-mile run when I was barely able to bend my leg afterward. I rested and stretched for two weeks but was still not able to run three miles, let alone continue the weekly long runs that were part of my training plan. Dr. Dubin was recommended to me by another athlete and I went to see him six weeks before the marathon. After listening to my story and taking a look at my knee, he reassured me that I’d be ready to go by race day. I was skeptical at first but after only a few treatments my knee felt significantly better. After four treatments I started running again and completed 10 miles with no pain. I followed that up with runs of 16 miles and then completed a 20-mile race, both of which with no knee pain. I continue to run pain free and thanks to Dr. Dubin I will complete the Boston Marathon next week as planned. I highly recommend Dr. Dubin and would not hesitate to see him again if I have any problems down the road.

Dr. Dubin,

My hamstring and calf held up just fine and my time of 3:40 was exactly what I was hoping to get. I can’t thank you enough, I thought for sure there was no way that I’d be able to complete the marathon with how my leg was feeling the week before. So I owe you guys big time. And I saw you did just fine in the race yourself! I hope your recovery is going okay: I am very sore but there is no real pain in the hamstring/calf that you treated. I thought for sure it was going to be a mess. Anyway, let me know if there’s any other way I can help. And thanks again!

Dr. Dubin,

After injuring one of the tendons of my Peroneus Muscle I went to see Josh Dubin. He explained what was wrong and what I needed to do to make it better. Following several active release sessions and a plan to rebuild strength, I’m well on my way to the best triathlon season of my life!

Thank you Dr. Dubin,

If not for your excellent care of my lower back pain, IT band tendinitis, bursitis, and shoulder impingement with your specialized treatments, I would not have been able to climb this 5,000 foot mountain, overlooking this beautiful Italian countryside. When I was in pain I never thought something like this would ever be possible. You made my dream come true. You are a miracle worker.

Thanks so much.

After frequent visits to my primary care doctors offiuce and minimal improvement, I decided to seek chiropractic treatment. That’s when I started treatment with Dr. Josh Dubin of Dubin Chiropractic. Dr. Dubin works regularly with medical doctors and physical therapists. Through muscle work, chiropractic adjustment and strength training I have noticed a great improvement in the symptoms I was experiencing. I found Dr. Dubin’s treatment to be safe with no discomfort as well as relaxing.

For the past three years I have been under Dr. Dubin’s care and have found him to be very helpful. He has prescribed a well-rounded series of stretching and weight training exercise for my lower back. This approach to lower back care has greatly improved my flexibility and kept my back pain free, now going on 2 years.

Sincerely,

Dennis McIntosh

Josh Dubin has been involved with the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge for the past four years as both a rider and a volunteer. In 1997 and 1998, he participated in the PMC as a rider, biking 200 miles each year and raising $2,718 for the Jimmy Fund.

I am writing this letter to let you know and all current and future patients that the service you provide as a chiropractic sports physician is the best all around care I have ever had! I have gone to many chiropractors in the past; almost all of them would spend about 3 to 7 minutes with me doing basic manipulation (cracking the back).

Your practices of a combination of deep tissue massage, manipulation, ultrasound, electric stem, stretching, and use of the back machine, has made me pain free wihtin 6 visits.

As a person who is very active in all sports, and also pushing 45 years , my lower back has been a constant area of major pain. Last week, after a basketball injury I could not even get out of bed and or walk up my stairs without my wife and kids holding me up. One week later, I am amazed, not only that I can walk but that I shoveled snow, swung a golf club and as a sale person have been able to get in and out of my car pain free!

Coming to your office, and spending anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 hour definitely seperates you from any other Chiropractor in your field. Continue the great work.

Thanks again for your dedication to your profession, your uniqueness, as a sports physician will absolutely make you very successful in the future.

Very Truly yours,

Steven Schertzer

I have known Dr. Dubin for three years and have had the opportunity to be his supervisor at several World and International sporting events…

Dr. Dubin’s ability to utilize deep tissure massage techniques, stretching procedures, and manipulative therapy enables him to effectively treat those athletes suffering from repetitive motino strain type injuries. Due to his excellent reviews and feedback from the athletes, I have personally invited Dr. Dubin to once again be a member of the Team USA medical staff at the ITU World Duathlon Championships to be held in Germany this year.

Due to the nature of the sport I love, I often get hurt really bad. I do take care of my body with basic treatment (such as icing), stretching, or yoga. However it gets beyond my control due to the nature of the sport I love. Though I’ve seen many physicians, therapists, accupuncturists, I’ve never seen anyone who can treat as good and efficient as Dr. Dubin. I feel very fortunate that I found him. Thanks Dr. Dubin!!

Hi Dr. Dubin,

I just wanted to say thanks for all your assistance in getting myself ready for the marathon. In addition to all the great work you did physically/medically, you offered a lot of valuable advice that helped a great deal.

When I hurt my knee it was a huge setback and I’m infinitely grateful that I was still able to run and finish this race. I wound up achieving my goal of under 4 hours, coming in at 3:58:08. The last 6 or so miles after BC are killer!

Interestingly enough, I didn’t feel so much as a twinge in my left knee through almost the entire race. Out of nowhere my right knee started crapping out and was bothering me for a while. After the finish it felt just like my left knee used to. Good thing I have plenty of time to rest now.

It feels really great that this whole experience is over and I achieved what I wanted to. You should know that you were a big reason why I was able to do so.

Thanks again,

Joe McDonough
